From Project to Service
To complete the funded stage of the Bloomsbury Media Cloud initiative, we have written up a case study about the project's outcomes, which can be accessed here.
At the moment, we are working on a Business Case to enable the project to become a fully fledged service, and a useful and sustainable element of the Bloomsbury Learning Environment's portfolio. This has involved partnering with MediaCore and signing up to their cloud-hosted service, which makes use of Amazon S3's storage facility. In the short-term, we were happy with ULCC hosting our website and content, but we are looking forward to working more closely with the platform's developers.
